Drexel ACE Program Spring 2019

Hello! I could not find a thread for Spring 2019 so I decided to start one.

I just submitted my application, 10 days before deadline! I am excited and nervous. I hope that I get an answer quick because I'll have a lot of planning to do. I read that it takes 4 to 6 weeks after the deadline to get a decision.

I hope on this thread we can share our stories and successes!

Thank you and good luck if you are applying!

Hey! I just interviewed for Jefferson today so I'm just waiting to hear back before I decide. What school are you leaning more towards?

I'm leaning towards Jeff but Drexel has a better pass rate. Also, Drexel graduates earlier than the other schools in the area so we would have the advantage when applying to jobs. I really cannot decide! How about you?!

I just got my acceptance letter for ace 11 month for spring 2019.so excited!!!

I applied September . My application was submitted for review September 19th and i got a decision October 4th for spring 2019

i just found out i was accepted. Do you live in philly or are you coming from out of state.

I'm also leaning towards Jeff as well but I just interviewed yesterday so I'm anxiously waiting to know! I want to be a nurse practitioner so Jeff seems like a more appealing option for me. How long did it take to hear back from Jeff?

Hey guys, I forgot to post again after I got accepted months ago (oops)..... I haven't heard back regarding clinical compliance. Apparently we are supposed to receive emails about this to set up a CastleBranch account but I never received it. Did anyone get this email?

Hi everyone,

I am also starting this spring and have yet to receive any emails about clinical compliance. Did everyone else get theirs? Or do you know when we should expect to receive them? I was accepted last month off of the wait list so I'm hoping I wasn't forgotten... I already have all my immunizations done but I'm worried about starting the background check and finger printing in time.

Hi!

I am accepted and plan to attend ACE for Spring 2019. I just made a facebook group called Drexel ACE Spring 2019 because I have a bunch of questions and I'm sure other people do so I figured it would be nice to have a place to post them. I'm from Philadelphia so I can definitely answer questions about the city itself.

Hi you two!

I was recently admitted to Drexel's spring 2020 cohort, and I just submitted my application to TJU's spring 2020 cohort as well. I was wondering what decision you two ultimately ended up making between Drexel and TJU, and if you regret your decision/what your program is like in general. I've seen some mixed reviews about Drexel, but nothing positive or negative about TJU... Drexel appears to have a better rep as a university but I'm not sure if that matters all that much for an accelerated program? Also, TJU seems slightly less expensive and maybe a little smaller in terms of cohort size... I'm not sure if you'll see this, but if you do and respond, I would greatly appreciate your insight!

Best,

Iris
