Med administration type questions like how many tablets or ml of liquid to give based on what you have on hand compared to a Dr's order. IV drip rate also in ml/hr or gtts( drops)/ min. Before my test I purchased Calculation of Medication Dosages by Boundy and Stockert. I was able to work through the entire book in less than a week, and did really well on the test. Math does not come naturally to me, and the more practice I get at these problems the better. This book has lots of problems, and describes both ways of solving them. Even though I stuck to dimensional analysis, I worked all of the problems in the book (the book in divided between dimensional analysis and formula) because even though I got there by a different route, the answers should all come out the same.
