Hello! I just googled CNM malpractice insurance, and found a couple of news articles that said CNMs pay up to $20,000 http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0CYD/is_12_39/ai_n6101578
or $25,000 http://local.lancasteronline.com/4/211785 and http://include.nurse.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071105/HL02/711050316
I also found an article where a CNM said she paid 10% of what her OB/GYN husband pays. That seems a little more reasonable if what one article states as $56,000 for malpractice insurance for OBs is correct, making CNM insurance more like $5,600.
Does anyone who is a CNM mind sharing how much it really costs? I'm in Indiana, and I realize that location may also effect cost.
Thank you!
Kate
