Does the Pearson Vue trick work?

I just took the NCLEX today at 4pm!  I've failed twice before :-( and am trying to be positive but my confidence has been shot.

The 1st time: had an anxiety attack, rushed through the questions and left in 25 min.

The 2nd time: I took too much "calming" medicine. don't worry its my own prescribed RX and ended up falling dead asleep at the monitor for a awhile  , when I woke up I was running out of time and rushed through half the test. Not my proudest moment

The first time I took it I tried the "trick" and got an answer with a "hold". failed that one. The second time I took the test I did the trick again and it charged my card. failed.

I've lost job offers because of not having my license. I recently have a pending offer for my dream hospital.

This time I did the trick and this pop up showed. please tell me its a good sign

good pop up!.PNG

Post back here when you find out! It sounds like you did much better than the last couple of times so I wouldn't stress too much.

It's crazy how anxiety can hinder a person. That last semester of nursing school really killed my confidence. But God is good. & hopefully 3rd ti,mes the charm, ?  I'll def keep you posted! Thanks again ❤️

I feel like this is a big reason why people fail. They get no sleep/don't eat anything and are ridden with anxiety and throw everything they know out the window during the test.

Also unsure if you could help at all but I also made a post and people seem to be slow to respond so I figure I'll ask here.

Any advice on how to approach the questions/test like how should you rationalize and answer the questions? Any advice would be awesome as I'm trying to help my s/o reproach the test so she can pass this next time around

Thanks in advance.

It worked for me and everyone else I know that took it and passed. Good luck!

Its really about what makes the most sense even if none of the answers seem to. Look at what they are asking, think about your ABCs and priorities and narrow it down.

I used NCSBN  learning extension NCLEX study guide and it helped me out so much. It's way cheaper than UWorld I paid $70 for 5 weeks and thats all I needed. I also listened to Mark Klimec on Youtube. His lecture helped me breakdown all the info and cut all the study info in half for me. But the best thing I did this time around. I gave myself a break. I cried, was depressed for a little, but got up started eating healthy again, doing my daily devotions, watching my favorite movies/shows, just gave myself some love. Once I was back to being me, I started reviewing again, from zero. I did one chapter per day and 200 q per day. I took 1 day off per week. I made sure to have a schedule and stick to it. I also took the test at 4pm, prev. I had taken it at 8am...im not a morning person. I arrive 2 hours early and just relaxed in my car.

My anxiety & low self confidence was the issue before. But once I got that under control I felt confident.

don't forget, you just graduated from one of the hardest courses to take, Nursing.  You have the tools to pass the NCLEX.

Don't give up. Give yourself a new start. And when you feel ready, take it again.  ❤️  You will pass

Great job, see you always had it in you! Congratulations and I hope your future career goes perfectly.

Hello! I’m wondering how do you know if you failed using the pearsonvue trick? I took my exam today and I panicked when I hit more than a 100 questions and I tried so hard throughout the whole exam (I felt like hyperventilating) so I feel like I failed it ? What does it say it you did the pearson trick and you failed? I still really really want to pass. ? I got my confirmation like about an hour later after finishing the test.

You will be able to register for another exam. That is usually a sign that you failed. If you are not able to register then you most likely passed.
