Hey everyone! I've been looking around at what the job market is like in Las Vegas for when I graduate in May next year. I'd like to move there in May or June but so far jobs for new graduates look quite sporifice. Most of them say 1 year experience required. What I was wondering is whether my experience working on a PCU as a nurse tech during nursing school helps me at all, or is even considered any sort of experience when I am applying for a job as a RN (BSN).
Thanks everyone!

It will absolutely make you more competitive. It is considered relevant clinical experience, and it also looks good that you can juggle work with nursing school, some hospitals even give differentials for tech experience. Best of luck!
