Does learning hurt for you sometimes?

Today was my first day administering meds via g-tube ... with 6 classmates and a professor watching. I'm a kinesthetic learner ... so no matter how many times I have watched others do it I will not learn it until I do it myself. So anyways, I nearly clogged the tube because a little bit of the meds did not completely dissolve in the liquid. I had to keep (gently) pushing the toomey back and forth with a little to create a vaccum to finally push down the little chunks. It took a while and I was getting so frustrated and embarassed ... I had a huge audience to perform for! LOL ... thankfully it finally went down after about 5 minutes ... ohh the joys of learning.

Oh man! I HATEEEE having an audience! :p G tube meds are pretty tricky... gotta make sure the pills are crushed super fine, the water has to be a certain temp, and all these things have to be just so! But you made it! It can only get easier from here on out! Congrats! :)

everyone hates an audience. Confidence comes from repeating a task, so you will get there one day. Meanwhile, yes it sometimes hurts to learn as there is stress involved.
