Does anyone know...

I wasn't getting a respond in the Graduate Forum so maybe I can ask it here...

If an MSN/NP program wants to switch from classroom to fully online program (except preceptorship of course), to whom do they request approval from for that new online program? How long does this process usually take?

    My guess is the Board of Directors for the school, then the Board of Nursing for that state and perhaps an agency of the state that coordinates higher education. The course work has to be approved by various entities. Surely the Dean of the Nursing College or of the entire school will have an answer.

    I would think they'd need to seek approval from NLNAC too if they're already accredited.
