I'm in my first year and a bunch of us were talking about how our first day of clinical almost a year ago was compared to now. We have been encouraged to speak up and participate when doctors ask us questions during patient rounds. It doesn't really bother me much but certain doctors I see and feel like running the other way when I see them because they are so intimidating. Is this normal and how did you overcome the fear of some doctors? I'm just hoping some day I will grow to feel like a professional nurse any tips for success would be appreciated!!
