I am a BSN student, currently in my junior year, who is considering grad school. All of the MSN programs I've looked at say you need a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. I'm curious--are they looking at your whole GPA, i.e. my first two years of Pre-Nursing and my last two years of the nursing program, or are they just looking at nursing program GPA? I can't find anywhere on their websites that say they only consider the last two years of the BSN program, but I'd like to be sure. Any help would be great!

Most look at cumulative. Some look at last 60 credits.

Depends on the individual school. When I interviewed for my grad program, I got asked about an F I had gotten (in a Phys. Ed. course) 20 years earlier, my first time in college, long before I went into nursing. (I did get accepted, but they sure wanted to hear about the F.)
