Do you Know???

Hi all,

I posted this in the oncology forum, but no one has replied, I thought I'd try my luck here.

I am looking into Radiation Therapy as a second career after this coming year. However, I want to make sure this is something I want to do, and am wondering if there is someone out there that knows something about it. Oncology nurses generally work on the same team as Rad Therapist.

I know what they do in general, but I would like to know is their stress level high; can they be trained on the job, or do they have to go back to school for this? Are Radiation Therapist generally happy with their career choice, etc. I am always examining different specialties so I can make a educated decision on the direction I will take after I finish the RN program.

Thanks for any info. ahead of time.
