HI
i am an internationally educated registered nurse and currently registered as lpn in alberta.if i work as lpn in alberta and want to apply for rn registration.then also do i hv to appear for sec assessment?

I would expect that you will need to have a SEC assessment. You've already taken one short cut and CARNA isn't really disposed to turn a blind eye to that sort of thing. If you're a registered nurse working as an LPN there's usually a reason for that. The registration criteria for RNs from many countries includes a SEC based more on education and not work history.
