Hello everyone! I just discovered this forum because I recently decided I wanted to pursue nursing with a goal of becoming a Doctor of Nursing Practice working in an ER/Trauma Center.
It's a bit late in the game to apply to programs now and I want to make sure I explore all program options, so I'm taking one more year to begin applying for the Summer/Fall 2019 start in accelerated nursing programs. I plan on getting a job as a PCT while applying and continuing my EMT job as well. I'm listing my stats and was hoping to get some insight on if I'd be a candidate for an accelerated program or not. I'm applying to tons of NY programs as well as others around the east coast.

Any insight on your experience with accelerated BSN programs would be much appreciated. I know my GPA isn't stellar so I was looking to see what I should expect out of the application profess. I do plan on applying early to programs as their applications open. Also plan to take the TEAS and HESI exam this year and hoping to do well. Thanks!
