While in the process of applying to nursing school, there would always be that little devil that would convince me that i would not get in because i was not good enough, smart enough. That little devil got its idea from EVERYONE that said that you had to have a 3.8-4.0 GPA and outstanding TEAS score to get accepted; i say the TEAS because that is what my school required. My GPA is not even close to that, my GPA is 3.5. I had to take the TEAS test 3 times to even get a decent score, which were a 80-Reading, 51-Math, 83-Science, and 50-English. When I would read/hear everyones testimonies about how they got into nursing school and with what, I would freak out because that is no where near with what i had. But, i would like to say to not feel discouraged because I got into nursing school!!!! So, to those of you who are in my shoes, keep pushing yourself and do not let rumors scare you away!

There's a saying...in order to have a testimony, you must undergo a test. You were tested and now have a testimony to give others hope. Good luck in nursing school!

I had a 3.6 GPA but BARELY passed the TEAS test prior to entering nursing school! I was really worried I wasn't going to get in, but I did, and now I'm literally at the top of my class academically.
I hate that schools base your acceptance into nursing school on a generalized TEAS test that is completely unrelated to what nursing is about!

I am glad you wrote this! I was getting discouraged searching for a nursing school. I will keep searching and not give up!
