Discharge planning software

I'm new to the field of discharge planning and just recently got my first exposure to ECIN. Was wondering if there are other software products out there that do the same thing (more or less) that I should gain familiarity with. Also, would love to know which one is your favorite! Thanks so much!

I never thought of ECIN as discharge planning software. Software to actually assist with discharge planning that takes training and skill is software to perform Utilization Management and Review. ECIN, on the other hand, allows you to communicate with suppliers and agencies that provide alternate level of care, which means you have to actually plan for the discharge outside of the software. In any case, do not worry... ECIN is very easy to use and it should not take you much time to learn.

Yes, I would highly reccomend taking a look at Curaspan. Thier system is easier to use and has more functionality (I have used both). You can take a look at thier website at http://connect.curaspan.com//.

There is another case management tool that I recently heard about called Aidin. They do much more than both ECIN and Curaspan including providing ratings and reviews of post acute providers - helping patients make better choices and reducing hospital readmission rates. Their website is http://myaidin.com/
