*NEW MEMBER HERE:yeah::jester::coollook:* lol. Are there any of you considerign do direct entry MSN programs after graduating? I always hear wait and get your experience but I dont plan to not work. I have no kids and im single so I think(KNOW) I can do it. Currently a student in Maryland, but I want to go to grad school in georgia & work after graduation in 2014.

I think it totally depends on you and the program you want to get into. I'm considering going for the CRNA program but you HAVE to work in critical care nursing for at least a year or two. I'm just in my first year of nursing so I obviously might change my mind later on. What school in Georgia?

While there are plenty of nursing graduate programs that will (unfortunately, IMHO) take you straight out of nursing school without any nursing experience, "direct entry" usually refers specifically to programs that are designed for people who are not nurses and have a BA/BS in another subject. Basic nursing education is included in the curriculum. People who have graduated from nursing school are not eligible for "direct entry" programs -- you should just be looking for regular ol' non-"direct entry" nursing graduate programs.
