Difficulty with HDLS1

Hi,

Really did not have a problem with any of the tests until the HDLS series only have these 3 left and feel like it's a whole new level. Before I used NCLEX comp and SG101 to study. Just the cardiology alone is overwhelming. All the different meds dx's it is just so much to comprehend. Already to the practice test got 57 on A and 59 on B, not very encouraging. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi there, yes I agree this series is overwhelming..I am using the exact same study materials as you...just trying to study small sections at a time to decrease the stress! I take LS1 on 10/10. Didn't take practice exams yet. We can do it! I'm really focusing on the nclex book because it breaks everything down so nicely. Keep me posted!

I just passed yesterday. I went through the whole exam thinking I was failing because I had no idea about these questions! I read the textbook (med surg) and used the study guide I bought off ebay. I never used the content guides for any of the exams.

It is overwhelmingm esp. this one. You just have to break it down into small sections.
