Difference between quick results and PVT

can someone advise on the difference? i got my ATT and there is a quick results option the day of for 7.95, but I also see the PVT trick here. Is it the same? Because I have to give cc info for the quick results and I thought that screen is usually bad?

Confused..please help!

Well the quick results is official. (well, its not 100% until your BON issues a license number). The PVT is just that and can be wrong. There are some posts that say the PVT showed they failed when they actually passed.

I didn't know about the PVT when I took my NCLEX-PN and paid for the quick results. Now that I know about the PVT I will still pay for the quick results when I take my NCLEX-RN.

You have to give the CC for quick results so they can bill your CC for the $7.95 and give you the results. The PVT brings up the CC because its under the impression you are trying to sign up for the test again.

OK so they are 2 different ways. So I can register for quick results today and pay, so when I take it I can just access it? And the PVT is just an unofficial trick that is usually right in predicting your result.

Thanks so much for the reply!

The quick results are available 48 hours after you test. it doesn't matter if the 48 hours ends on a holiday or weekend it will still show up. I tested on a Friday morning and my results were available that Sunday. I had a friend that tested on July 2nd and her results were up on July 4th.

Last question CT Pixie- and thank you so much for your help!

So I register now and pay for quick results, before I take my test, right? I don't wait til the day of?

Thank you!!!!

Yes, if you've received your ATT, you register for your NCLEX now and pay now. After you take the test, you have to wait 48 hours to get your quick results, at that point you pay then and get your results. Are you sure your state participates in quick results, there are some states that don't.
