Desperate for advice!

Published

I'm freaking out over this exam, I take it Wednesday.

I've taken the HESI before, at my school you need a 70% to pass and I got a 69.8% (just my luck).

What were some main things on the exam science and math wise because those will probably be the most challenging for me.

Also, were there a lot of analogy questions?

Should I be worried about the physics portion? I'm a junior in college and haven't taken physics since freshman year in high school.

ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREAT, THANKS SO MUCH!!!

Hi,

I haven’t taken the exam yet but here is an outline I found of the TEAS exam that should help answer your questions. http://goo.gl/Woibd

Also, here are some of the things I am using to study.

ATI Study Guide - TEAS Products

McGraw Hill TEAS Study Book - Amazon.com: McGraw-Hill's Nursing School Entrance Exams (9780071599375): Thomas Evangelist, Tamra Orr, Judy Unrein: Books

TEAS Practice Test iPhone App - TEAS Practice Test & Questions for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad on the iTunes App Store

I like the McGraw Hill and the iPhone app the best. The McGraw Hill book does a good job at explaining the details of each concept and the iPhone app is a great way to study on the go and test what you’ve learned. The app also provides answer explanations which has helped me understand why I got questions wrong and how to solve them the correct way.

Hope this helps.

Good luck!

Thanks for your tips!

I take the exam on June 23rd, but I'm currently studying the ATI study guide. I also purchased the ATI online practice tests. It was helpful to take the practice test because it evaluates your strong and weak areas and tells you what you should study. Without studying I made a 72 on the practice test. Plus it is the same format as the actual TEAS test. Good luck!

I was wondering which online practice test you purchased the form A or B. Planning to take the exam a week or 2 after yours. Good success to us!!!
