Depression during nursing school

Hi everyone!

so lately I’ve been feeling quite depressed while taking nursing classes. This is my first semester and I can confidently say that I’ve been putting 110% of my time into it. However, regardless of how much efforts I’ve invested, my grades don’t reflect it. When comparing my grades to my peers’, mine are well off. I’m constantly feeling like I’m trailing behind everybody where I used to be the top of my class when I was taking my prerequisites. I always try to adapt a new approach for how to study for exams, but so far none of them has been proven successful. As I’m approaching the end of this semester, I went from “wanting to get all A’s to just wanting to pass”. As of now, I’m feeling deprived of energy, unmotivated and emotionally drained. What should I do?
