DePaul MENP program 2015

Hey all!! wondering if anyone has applied for DePauls MENP program that starts in January 2015. If so would you mind sharing some stats... I graduated from DePaul with a BA in psychology with a 3.2 and since have worked as a case manager for adults with chronic mental illness, CNA and physical therapy aide. Just submitted my application this week, didn't make priority deadline :/

I applied about six weeks ago now. I started my application in january but missed the deadline due to three separate people neglecting to send LORs. I finally got one so I made the May deadline. Admissions had told me that it would take 4 to 6 weeks for a decision so I don't know when I'll hear anything. I have a BS and an MS so this is basically a career change of sorts.

I applied on the 16th, I'm hoping that I hear by the end of July. I was wondering if anyone has ever been admitted when they were finishing there BS? I have a 3.39 with an A in organic chemistry and an B in anatomy I, I'm finishing the other 2 pre recs in the fall to complete my BS degree. Do I have a chance of getting accepted?

Hey guys,

I applied a few days past the priority deadline for the Fall of 2014 but they had no more room, so ended giving me a spot in the Winter 2015 program. I have a BA in psychology with a 3.4 GPA. Since then I have done all my science prereqs at Oakton Community College and had a 3.66 GPA there. I think what really helped me along were some stellar recommendation letters from my boss (an internal medicine MD and two professors). Looking forward to starting the program!

On another note...how do you all plan on paying for the program if you get in? Ive looked into assistantships, scholarships, and grants and unless i get funding outside of loans im afraid i may be unable to attend. I can't fathom taking on all that debt in loans as i have student debt as it is.

I applied as well. My application is complete but it's status is still under pending.
