I recently applied to the MENP program for Fall 2019 and was wondering if anyone else has applied to the RFU location?

Hey AspiringNurse2019,
I also applied to DePaul for Fall 2019 but for the Lincoln Park campus on Jan 2 but have not heard anything back yet. Last year the first round of decisions went out around the 6th of this month but when I talked to admissions last week I was told that they are looking through Summer candidates to see if anyone wanted to be moved fo Spring so it could be a few more weeks before decisions go out for Fall. Did you apply directly to the school or through Nursingcas? How did you decide on which campus you wanted to attend?

Oh wow when did you apply? I applied Dec 29th and was verified by Nursingcas on Jan 2nd. I got the "under review" email from DePaul but nothing since then. Did you apply anywhere else?

Hi!
I applied through the school because I was a little late in applying and NursingCAS takes so long to verify everything. I applied to the RFU campus because it's closer to where I live. I haven't seen many reviews for the RFU campus though.

I started to apply in October and submitted my application I believe November 9th. And I actually didn’t apply anywhere else. I applied to Rush last May for their spring 19 cohort but I was waitlisted so once I read that DePaul enrolls all year round I figured I’d give them a try. I wish I had known that last year while I was applying to Rush bcuz I would’ve applied last year as well.
Did you apply to any other programs?

I applied to Rush as well but I am still waiting on 1 letter of recommendation so I am nervous about that. I also applied to Emory and Johns Hopkins but I am waitlisted at both schools.

I started to apply directly to the school but since I had already had my application verifed before in Nursingcas, I figured it would verify quicker for additional applications. That makes since. I don't live close to either so I applied to the main campus.
Yea I haven't seen many reviews or post on Summer or Fall 2019 for either campus. I did notice that last years decisions were released around now but the year before they weren't released until about Feb 28 and early Mar. Hopefully we hear back soon though.

Well good luck!! Which one is your top choice??
And I actually just got accepted to DePaul for their Spring term so I’ll be starting a lot sooner than the summer.

Yay! Congratulations!!! ? Good luck to you as well.
When does the Spring term start? Let me know how things are going or just any nursing school advice you have once things really get rolling in the program.
My top choice is Johns Hopkins but I would definitely be excited to get into any of those schools.

Hi! I am also patiently waiting to hear back from DePaul for fall 2019. I applied to the Lincoln Park campus. Does anyone know the average GPA they accept and how many spots are available?

Hi Everyone!
I also applied to the Fall 2019 cohort. I don't know the average GPA they accept, but I do know that they normally get 200 students applying for fall with about 80 spots. They have the most applications for the fall program. I am also patiently waiting so let me know if you get in or hear anything back!!
