I am a 31 year old single mom. I was accepted into LPN school this year. Unfortunately, I am highly considering deferring my acceptance. I am not sure however if that is an option in my state. (North Carolina). I start Jan 10th. My reason for deferment. I am currently very much financially and emotionally struggling. I am going through a custody battle with my 8 year old son. It's been incredibly hard. On top of this I am also struggling from some significant mental health issues and financial issues. I am just not sure if starting school this year is the best choice but I also do not want to lose my spot if I cannot defer. Thoughts? Please no judgement. Thank you.
