Declaratory order Help

I am a pre-nursing student and I am going to apply for a declaratory order to the texas board of nursing for a misdemeanor from several years ago. Has anyone filed for one that could advise on how they wrote the personal letter. I don't want to word things wrong and mess up my chances of approval.

Thanks

First, I would change my user name to something more anonymous. It's way too easy nowadays to identify someone even on a nursing forum. You also should contact your state Board of Nursing to find out if your misdemeanor is one that would disqualify you. Some, like assault, would more than likely do so unless it's been many years since the crime.

Best of luck to you, and welcome to Allnurses!
