DCN tuition rate is up...

Just thought I would let you know, I received a letter in the mail yesterday stating that DCN's tuition will be going up to $465 a credit starting August 2005.

Not looking for snide remarks from DCN haters...but just giving DCN hopefuls and current students a heads up.

Note to Nursing Educator Majors:

There is money to be made in opening an online ASN program.

Cheri,

I saw that in the mail a few days ago, but to be fair at least two of the local (St. Louis) nursing programs are charging over $510 a credit hour so the DCN rate is still in line. As far as I can tell only the community colleges are lower than DCN and the waiting list is forever. Also, did you get the PM that I sent last week?

:yeahthat: I have a feeling that it won't be much longer before there are many online programs modeled after DCN, especially since they are now owned by Devry.

BTW, I try not to look at the tuition notices as they come in the mail.

Kelly,

Thanks for the perspective there...I had no idea what the current nursing school situation is in St Louis. I try not to think about the cost of tuition too much, I just keep reminding myself that DCN has offered me an opportunity that no one else could.

BTW: perhaps I have "misplaced" your IM :p , please resend...

Cheri :)
