You know, I was actually thinking about that on my way to work last night. The Starman deserved it, that's for sure.

I was saying to my hubster last night that I wonder if he utilized physician-assisted dying in order to go out the way he wanted. From what I've read, he seemed to meticulously plan the end of his life.

Saw a photo of him on the news that was supposedly taken a day or so before he died; he was grinning broadly with a devil-may-care attitude, seemed relaxed and looked healthy as all get out.
It never occurred to me he may have taken the physician-assisted route.
Maybe he looked so good and so happy in that photo, because he'd 'decided' and felt glad about gettin' goin' while the goin' was good, before he declined to the point where he couldn't do anything about it.
The photo of him in the dark suit wearing a hat was from his last photo shoot, don't think I have seen a date for that shoot mentioned. He was an amazing artist,I have been a fan since I was 13.We Philly fans revered the man.Everywhere I go people of all ages are talking about him, playing his music. The tributes I've read from almost every news outlet leave no doubt,he was well respected.

Sirius has a channel devoted just to him. Really good. I too, hope he had hospice. Every one of us deserves to have the support of hospice while they travel down that last road.
Yes,Sirius is playing some great deep tracks, covers of his songs by other singers and great tributes by others.I emailed and asked them to consider extending the channel.....
