Cypress College RN Program

Hi guys, I just finished my anatomy class and ended up with a B. This really scares me because I know I really need those A's.

I currently have about a 3.3 GPA overall, and still have Bio 220 and Bio 240 to take.

However, I know they only use the GPA you earned based on the required General Education Coursework list they have listed on their website. My GPA on my coursework is around a 3.4-3.6

So what if I complete both of those with A's and end up with a total of 29 points? Maybe even 30 points?

What are the chances of getting into the Cypress College RN Program with 29 or 30 points? and a GPA around 3.4-3.6 in the required General Education coursework?

Thanks guys

Hi well you have a good chance getting in with 29 points its definatley competitive. I had 30 points when I got in and its been a little while since I worked out the point but I think your max would be 28 because your prereqs provide you with 15 points if you have straight A's then you can get the extra 15 from your GE and other things but if you have a B you will get 13 points. Now 28 isnt bad either but you may not get in to the Spring class after application but you may wait till Fall still not bad at all. Really depends on how many people have 29 and 30 points when you apply. Good luck hopes this helps.
