am a nurse educator. wanted to do some critical thinking exercises for new grad r.n's. could use suggestions, case studies, any help at all. thanks

I am on a roll about delegation. Please be sure to include some issues regarding delegation to other RNs, float RNs, agency RNs, student nurses, nuring externs and LVN/LPN's. The nurse practice act for your state probably outlines these issues and you can build scenarios around them. Be sure to include "what if the situation changes". Do we re-assign? Get help? We had an issue recently that pointed out many nurses were not sure what the NPA stated regarding delegation.
