Does anyone know of any good websites to practice Critical Care type of Math Problems? I want to get a jump start on practicing my math for this course....
I would appreciate it. I have a calc book which I just started looking at today.... problems like mcg/min , mcg/hr, mcg/kg/min, etc....
I surfed the internet and found 1 website that had a practice quiz; which i am currently working on. I was just wondering if anyone know of any others.... Thanks .

i am almost sure that some of the tutorials or textbook companion websites that are listed on post #3 of the the nursing math thread in the general nursing student discussion forum have sections that address this. when it comes to the actual drugs, that's another story. i have to reference books like 2007 intravenous medications by betty l. gahart and adrienne r. nazareno for specific drug parameters when i answer questions like that as i am not familiar with the dosages of these drugs. sites like http://rnbob.tripod.com/ (nurse bob's micu/icu survival guide) or http://www.icufaqs.org/ (notes on icu nursing) might be helpful. you could always pose a question on one of allnurses critical care forums as well. some of these titrated drugs have preprinted infusion charts that these nurses use, so they aren't always having to do these calculations on the job.
Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!
