Sep 30, 20196 yr Did anyone get their marks for sept 2019 early window? How did you find the exam? Did you pass or fail? What material is best. Everyone said to study cpnre editions but I found the questions on cpnre editions are easier than the actual exam.

I read somewhere that they will release the results 2 weeks after the halfway point in the date range, and 2 weeks after the last date in that range... I wrote on Oct 1st in Ontario and I think the last day to write was listed as October 6th... so adding 2 weeks on to that is October 20th. I feel like the wait will be much longer. I assume they are waiting for the balance of the students to write, then somehow calculate what a passing average is. Phew...

Oct 4, 20196 yr There should be no misunderstanding about the passing grade. The internet says that the passing grade is predetermined depending on the level of the exam. It is not based on the test-takers' average performance.

Oct 4, 20196 yr Author Can you kindly explain to me how they pass or fail. I have been searching around and can’t seem to find it.

The passing grade is predetermined based on the level of the exam. For example, I would need 125 to pass the test on a certain date as 125 is a predetermined score prior to the exam.(The passing grade has nothing to do with the test-takers' average scores.)So, you fail if you get below 125. It is explained on the Yardstick page.
