CPCC SPRING 2020

Hello!

I did not find any thread already started so I created my own.

I am applying to Central Piedmont Community College's ADN program, Spring 2020 start. I am curious who all else is applying and what are your stats? Have you applied before?

I have an 80% on my TEAS, all pre-reqs completed other than A&P 2, and I am a Medical Assistant but no actual degree so no extra points on my application which is kind of a bummer but still okay! My application totals to 40.20 points. My stats are on the lower side but I AM HOPEFUL!

:-)

Hi I’ve also applied to CPCC’s Spring 2020 ADN program. I had a 78% overall on the TEAS with a 89% in Reading and 87% in Math. I do have a previous degree but was unable to get the extra points bc my gpa my .5 below the requirement and I took honors instead of AP in high school (bummer) so I have 45.49 total points on my application. I have everything as far as pre-reqs except the basic computers class and an elective but I spoke with the director and she told me not to worry about it since I have other credits that transferred in they may substitute for them or I can take them during the program. This is my first time applying to this program but I looked into previous forums and saw similar scores that got in so I’m hoping I do as well.

Awesome! Good luck! Let me know when you hear something. I’m thinking it’ll be about a month before we do.

This is my first time applying. I'm missing my A&P classes but I do have a bachelor's and made a 89 on Reading, 97 on Math, and 80 overall. I have 51.63 points. I'm not sure if not having the A&P classes will count against me, but I won't be disappointed as they might be looking for applicants who have most of their pre-reqs done (especially A&P!!!). I am hoping to get into the Fall program at latest since I'll be done with all my pre-reqs then!

Good luck and keep us updated! ?

I think you guys should be ok the director told me not to worry bc these courses are also included in the curriculum. Good luck!

Hey guys! this is my first time applying too! unfortunately I am missing three of the classes on the application but having a bachelors degree did help a bit. I did okay on TEAS I got 84% (reading 91% and math 93%) and my points average 48.9. In previous years Ive only seen a few students in the forties get in but I guess it depends on the pool of applications. Im really hoping it is enough to get me in! Good luck to everyone and hopefully we get official emails soon!

Hey guys!

I'm also wanting to apply to CPCC's nursing program for Fall 2020 but I don't have all of my pre-reqs completed. I have all except Mat 143 and BIO 169. Good to know that you don't have to have all of them completed prior to applying. I also have to get CNA certified and take the TEAS test, any pointers or advise on study materials to help do well on the TEAS?

Things that helped me with the TEAS was any free mock/practice tests I could find online along with free TEAS prep apps as well. ?
