I can't seem to find any specific job openings for nurses listed on the GA Dept. of Corrections website. It gives a link to MCG, but still no listings. I'm a new LPN grad and I've heard they hire new grads to work in the state prisons and I was interested in applying. If anyone knows where I can find specific job postings, please post a link. Also, if anyone knows the starting pay, I'd like to know that, too.

My husband is a Sgt. at a Georgia state prison in North georgia I will ask him if he knows where to find the job listings. Have you ever worked in a state prison? You really need to think about if this is the place you want to work it is not a fun place and the state is really screwing around with benefits and pay. It isn't the best place to work. Please think really hard about it.
