Cool thing we're doing at work...

it started in february...we are doing secret smiles (kinda like a secret santa thing). we leave notes for our secret smile, candy, little gift, etc.

it is a wonderful thing. people feel appreciated. when you walk into a shift and there is a little something on your locker, or at the nurses station, it is such a nice little thing.

it is going to run for 4 months and then we get to find out who our secret smile is.

just thought it was a cute idea to share.

Are there any "rules"? For example, no hitting on people and definately no nasty presents or notes. Keep it professional, like, "you did a good job" that sort of thing. Can people opt-out?

Who has organised it? Not actually sure I would like it to be honest. I would think someone might be stalking me.... my middle name is Paranoid!!!

the nurse retention committee came up with the idea.

it is totally voluntary.

the thought of hitting on others (i don't think) ever occurred to any of us. we only work with 3 guys .

no stalking, just friendly co-workers.
