Continuing ed for CA nurse

Hi this question is about continuing education. However I wanted advice from nurses in CA.

I live in Oceanside. I want to continue my education and get my BSN...preferably online. The Ca State board of registered nurses accredits only certain schools. ( Cal state fullerton, University of Phoenix, etc..) My question is: Can I attend an out of state university( online) for my BSN and have it reccognized in CA. What am I looking for when I am shopping for a school? Should I only choose a school that is listed on the CA BRN website?

You already have RN after your name, so there is no further licensing process for you to go thru.

That is where the school comes into play, whether or not it is accepted for licensure.
