Concorde Dallas RN program

Published

Hi, is anyone here in the RN program at concorde in Dallas? I'm getting ready to start the enrolling process and wanted to hear from someone who's already in the program. I will be taking the TEAS in a couple weeks and I am having the hardest time with the math and science questions.

Concorde offers a free Teas test prep course! Take advantage of it.

I know this is a old post, I am currently a student at Dallas Concorde RN program. In describing the program in Term 4, it is very fast paced and a very challenging nursing program. The classes are 10 weeks long and you will attend class and clinicals everyday once you get into 4th term. The program is still fairly new so they are still fixing kinks like clinical issues and curriculum. The instructors are still struggling with learning how to teach 6-10 chapters in one class day. It is very difficult to keep up with the amount of work given everyday. You will test every class on at least 10 chapters on exams, sometimes in 3 different classes. But I try to remember that the nursing school journey is never an easy one, you work hard, you may even want to give up, but its your dream so you keep pushing through no matter what.

I hope the program goes well for you. I was looking at going there for my RN. Is the program going ok for you?

I am giving a update on the RN Concorde program. I am about 3 months from graduating and am super excited and very ready to finish school. It has been a hard journey and I have learned a lot. The best advice I can give anyone on the program is that is very fast paced and overwhelming most of the time since you are in class and clinical 5 days a week. You must be motivated and have great time management skills to complete this type of program successfully. Most of my classmates do not work right now and the ones who do are working part time due to the course load. The best way to get through the classes is to help each other and work as a group with studying and test prep. Most of my classmates including myself are LVNs, but it is amazing how much you don't know so try to keep a open mind on learning. We struggled with that due to already being nurses but we have worked through changing our way of thinking. Every nursing program has its unlikable moments but for the most part its been typical stressful nursing school. Good luck with moving forward with your nursing journey, and if you have questions about their program let me know.

Hi was there a waiting list when you applied
