Concept/Concept Analysis

Hello All,

I am a BSN-DNP scholar and I am having to develop a concept for a concept analysis paper. I was thinking about doing lateral hostility or just hostility, but then I thought that would be too wide like umbrella. I really do want to keep it simple and not make it more hard than it already is for me. I have a tendency to be or get too detailed in my assignments and then they take way longer than they needed to be. Consider my heavy life load I cannot continue to do that. Nonetheless, I am not sure what would be a good research topic that won't skew my results and then I will have to start all over again. If anyone can help me with advice, ideas, sample papers, or anything please let me know. I am not into plagiarism because my career means to much to me, I just honestly need help. Please reach out to me and I will respond. I am suppose to have my concept idea by this Wednesday, Sept 2, 2015 and I just found out last night online and have been reading, reading, and reading. Please advise.

Pick a key concept that relates to the field your capstone project will be in -- the specialty field you hope to work in after graduation. What field is that? Don't just pick a concept at randome. Clarifying your concepts is a good way to start your capstone. Doing it now will save you time later.

Thank you for your feedback. I have not yet decided on a capstone project as of right now. I did decided to go with lateral violence as my concept. I am very passionate about workplace bullying. However, I have worked in pain mgt before and I still do PRN, I have actually thought about doing my specialty in pain mgt. There is such a bias with pain patient's and the reluctance to meet their needs. I am still thinking and pondering over my place and specialty as an NP. Thank you again for your advice. Please keep your suggestions coming. You have already embarked upon graduate school and have been successful. Therefore, I am open to constructive encouragement.

Good luck. I already gave you the best advice I could give. Decide on a direction ... then use your coursework projects to lay the foundation for your capstone and for your future career.
