Concept Analysis

Hi,

I am doing a concept analysis on job satisfation. I am reviewing literature and I cannot find any nursing theorist mentioning it. I found loads on psychology theories. Any suggestions??? I am also stuck on related case. I am trying to tie it to motivation which is related to my concept but not the same. I have a hard time coming up with the scenario...........

are you allowed to pull from other disciplines? When I did my concept analysis during spring semester, we were able to pull from other disciplines, such as psych and soc, so as long as we redefine the concepts to make them nursing related.

I'd ask your professors if you can do so.

of course we can I just wanted to know if I missed anything on nursing. we only have 1 week to write this plus I can't realy do much at work. Most of nursing theories are usually borrowed from other diciplines and molded into nursing. Now I am agonizing over my related case.

well maybe you are being too narrow with job satisfaction. Maybe just focus on satisfaction in and of itself.

I got everything down from the my own definiton, antecedent, literature, consequence............job satisfaction is the whole concept being analyzed... Its just hard putting these words into scenarios

I am not sure what you mean by related case? When we had to do ours, we had to define the phenomenon, identify its attributes, antecedants, consequences, and empirical indicators.

(sorry I was posting before I refreshed the page)
