1 or 2 company's

Hi

I am new to traveling and I am currently looking to start in Sept. I've heard from a few people to work with 2 company's and from others to only work with one company. Any advice on this would be great. I am currently talking with Cross Country and thinking about RN Network.

UNtil you sign a contract, you should be researching as many companies as you are comfortable with. One ONE should submit you to the facility when YOU are ready.

What part of the country are you looking to travel to?

Thands for your reply. I currently live on the east coast and I am looking to go out west (Austin, TX, Pheonix Arizonia, and/or San Diego, CA). I looked into about 8 companies and CC and RNN I was happiest with. I am ready to sign with CC, but should I continue to work with both. I found CC has assignment I would like to go to the RNN doesn't have and vice a versa.

When I travelled in the 90's I was signed up with 8 companies. It was a lot of work but I was able to find the most assignments that way. Usually only took an assignment with one or two companies back then, till I found the recruiter who kept me at the top of her list. You will get information about assignments only after you complete the required paperwork for each company. They will then give you all the information you need to decide if you want them to submit you for a position. Once you have one company submit you DO NOT ALLOW ANOTHER COMPANY TO SUBMIT YOUR NAME. It will cause mass confusion and possible legal concerns. The only way to get a company to tell you how much they pay for a certain assignment is to be ready to sign a contract with them. That is why some have more than one company they work with. If that's still confusing ask any questions that you may have.
