Hey All! I'm interested in an accelerated Bachelor's in nursing and came across Columbia's accelerated Mater's in nursing. Is this a valuable degree given there's no specialty attached to it? Logically, it seems odd as it's intended for someone who has no experience in the nursing field. I would imagine one would have to go back to school to specialize in order to practice as a NP? Also, does anyone know the cost of the program (I'm seeing numbers ranging from ~ $52K to $92K) and the acceptance rate? Thanks!
