Collin College ADN Spring 2023

Hi! I will also be applying for the Spring 2023. 
I am taking A&P 2 in July @ Plano.

I read the TEAS is TEAS 7 now, I’m a little nervous about that bc I have been study the TEAS 6 study guide…..??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️

Don’t be nervous. I think there are only a few changes. The fact that you’ve been studying at all is a huge win ?. I need to get on that ?…?

Math and science have been my struggle--if you don't use it, you lose it ?? 

I found Youtube videos helpful. I plan on taking the TEAS right after my A&P2 class ends in August, so everything is fresh. I also just signed up for a BLS certification class at the end of the month. Now for titers......

So true, I am TERRIBLE at math, and surprisingly grammar rules LOL. I need to sign up for a BLS class too, where did you sign up??

I'm taking the TEAS July 11th, and I am literally in Microbiology as we speak. Taking that and A&P II together. Wish me luck ?

I’m taking Micro in fall, so just applying with A&P 1/2. I’m taking the BLS class tomorrow at the Plano location.

I’m also applying for Spring 2023. I’m planning to take the TEAS like in august, I read they added biology and more Chemistry for the science part, so I’m very nervous:(. 
For the prerequisites, I got an A in all the classes.

Does anyone know the deadline for Spring?

Hi! The deadline for Spring 2023 is August 31, 2022. They will post applications on the website in August.

I’m definitely feeling crazy for taking both classes, but I’m halfway done!

Took the TEAS yesterday, and I will say that it went better than I thought it would. I’m just complete trash at grammar rules, and the science section in general is just… a lot. Just need to finish strong, apply, and take a vacation ?

I applied for the fall 2022 and didn’t get in, I’m retaking my TEAS and applying for the Spring 2023

Hi everyone!

I’m applying for Spring 2023 and am taking Micro this fall. I’ve already taken my TEAS, got all my transcripts together and printed off the application from Collin’s website(looks like they already have the Spring 2023 application linked there).

Under the requirements on the application it says that a transcript evaluation is required prior to applying for the program, but if we haven’t completed any prereq’s specific to the ADN program at any other schools other than Collin, do we still have to complete that?
