Collin College ADN - Fall 2025

Hi Maddie how did you do? I applied for the Spring 2025 but if I get waitlisted I'll apply for the fall 2025.

Hi! Good luck for this round! When do you find out if you got in? 

Ohh just saw you take it July, I thought June, good lucky on your exam! We should find out in 6-7 weeks. We applied on June 1st. 

Got denied for Spring 2025 so fall 2025 it is. Hopefully this time it's our year. 

I got Denied for Spring 2025 so Fall 2025 it is too! Hopefully I can get in! 

I got an 

A in A&P 1 

B in A&P 2 

and finishing Micro and its giving like I will be getting a B 

I withdrew from Micro during Spring 2024 because I took it with A&P 2 which was the biggest mistake ever, I could not find any balance what so ever. So the Withdraw deducted one point from my criteria points. 

Do y'all think I should repeat any classes? Or do you think I can survive if I get in the high 90s for my TEAS? If I repeat a class they are going to deduct more points and I already have 1 deducted.

@Elizabeth Lambo you got this that TEAS is super high and it's going to make up for any other low grades. Plus you'll get one extra point for having micro finished with the rest and the other points based on micro grade your chances are high. I got a low TEAS so now I'm planning on retaking it that's my only way. I have all Bs but a retake so that deducts me a point. And 70 TEAS so I'm low on the points hopefully I get a higher TEAS. And can reapply w more points.

@Elizabeth Lambo ohh sorry I thought u had said you got a 90 already. Do you have the point sheet on how it works? The higher your TEAS the more points you will get. I only got 6 points for my TEAS so I am going to retake. Definitely take it when you feel super ready sucks having to retake for the 3rd time now for me. But we got this. 

Dang, I'm sorry y'all didn't get in first try but yeah I'd focus on TEAS grades! I don't think there's a point in retaking any of your pre reqs because then you'll lose a point anyways which would have you in the same spot as having a B. 
 

I take my TEAS first attempt this Thursday, I'm pretty nervous! I've been studying for about a month now though so hoping it goes OK!

Thank you! I'm taking it in person at NCTC where I'm taking my pre reqs! I've been doing some practice tests. I feel confident about very section except science, but I'm hoping I do well enough to not have to take it again! 

hi guys im applying for the fall 2025,

I took A&P prereqs already and got a C in A&P 1 and a B in A&P 2 ?

all I need is micro which im taking this fall. im aiming for an A!

I also need to take the TEAS, which im planning for September. 

im so nervous! I hope I get in.
