If someone were to come in with a MI, what would would you expect the doctor to do(order labs, etc.), and what would you expect the nurse to do(start IV, O2, etc.)? I need to list what would happen in this scenario and I cant find anything in my book. thanks!

I can't believe your nursing textbook doesn't tell you what needs to be done for a patient with an MI. Collaorative care are things that require a doctor's order to perform.

This sounds like something you need to research and not ask in a public forum. These types of things you need to know how to look up quickly. It would do no good for someone to outline the steps for you because it wouldn't stick with you try an on line literature search.
