Collaboration

Does anyone know if any of the Federal Agencies have a collaboration agreement or a written nurse practice act. I work for Bureau of Prisons and the collaboration agreement for it would be preferred, but I'd take any federal guidelines on the scope of practice for NPs in federal positions. Everytime I ask someone about scope of practices, they indicate that as a federal employee my scope is broader, but they don't seem to know where to find the information. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

    I'd get in touch with your board of nursing because I would imagine, as when I worked for VA, you are bound by your state's scope of practice even if it is a different state than where you are practicing.
