CNS interview questions

Anybody able to offer advice/tips on interview questions? I have an interview coming up for a chemotherapy nurse specialist position (band7)

No presentation required but it would be very much appreciated for any help on questions and answers, Thank you 😊

A Band 7 role is a senior role, a Chemotherapy Nurse Specialist is what it says.

If you honestly don't know enough about this prior to interview then you are wasting everyone's time.

Sorry, on re-reading my reply I have come over a bit more aggressive than I intended.

However my premise still stands. This is a specialised senior role. If you are going for it you should know something about it.

I would like to think that given my current role I wouldn't be wasting anyone's time, but then you never asked..

such a shame that there are people like you working within our caring profession.

You did not say what your current role is. Again, a Band 7 role is a senior role and the job is highly specialised.

You mean people who will force you to do your own research?

If you want to have a senior role then you need to have the knowledge and experience to back it up.
