Hi everyone,
Not sure if im in the rigth place if not please guide me. I been working in the ICU floor for almost 4 year. We get everything in the floor but we are neuro focus I decided that is was time to get my CNRN and SCRN. I have researched and there is a lot of studing material that is so much from where to pick. So I will like any recommendations that has worked for any of you to get this certification. Any tips will be appreciated. Thanks very much in advanced.

Hello,
I took and passed the SCRN in 2020. I used the resources available through AANN/ABNN (the self-paced review videos, the textbook and the practice tests). I'm a member so that helped cut the cost a little bit.
I also used "Stroke Certification Study Guide for Nurses" textbook by Kathy Morrison (link below) which included over 300 practice questions, accessible online or via an app, which made studying while at work or laying on the couch very easy. The practice questions are grouped by category and you have the ability to practice each category one at a time or combine categories you choose to create custom tests. The app also offered great feedback on which areas you need more practice.
Hope that helps! Good luck ?
