So in my hospital, the CNL role is a glorified resource nurse role. I only say it like that because you don't need your masters to apply. I was recommended for this position, you have to send a letter to the nurse manager of the unit specifying why you would be great at the position. the issue is, I've been a nurse for 1.5 years and I don't necessarily think I have any better skills than anyone else. Does anyone have any ideas for how I should word this letter, I was thinking to use our core values which include safety excellence integrity caring. If anyone is a CNL and has any attributes they can touch upon that they believe made them ideal for the role, please let me know. thanks in advance.
