CNA to LPN

Hi all I will be starting LPN school this year in April and obviously by my profile name I am a Certified Nursing Assistant/Aide and have been for 3 years now and actively using my certification. Next year April I will be finished with my program and give or take 3 months im hoping to have successfully completed the NCLEX-PN. I have a few transition question that randomly popped in my head and because I work with all RN's on a trauma unit in a hospital they at the most were contingent CNA's prior to becoming RN'S so they don't have much advice.

Did anyone make the transition from CNA-LPN at a facility you were working at prior to completion of your LPN? Was it a lot better for you because you had supportive people meaning coworkers? Did the patients/residents respect your new position in the facility? Do your former CNA peers make it harder for you to delegate task because they know you used to be a CNA or are you really close and work better than other LPN-CNA pairs in the building because you know and respect the position not because you were taught you should or shouldn't but because you know what its like. You don't have to answer all my question whatever you want or feel pertains to you. I like getting feed back on good or bad experiences i promise if ive made it this far as a CNA insight on your bad experience won't make or break my decision to dedicate my life to helping others and furthering my education in the field.

(This post is not to offend anyone LPN or RN it no where states that if you were a CNA before you became a nurse your better than those who weren't because I have witnessed both sides of the situation people will be people)
