Hey! I am going to take my CNA state board exam on Jan 4th. Is the Clinical part hard? My class stressed that female perineal care is almost always on there, and hand washing (obviously) but what about making the bed?
Could really use a little guidance on what to study, there are 60 clinical skills in my book!
Hello:
From my experience my clinical skills were choosen by the computer when I arrived. You don't know what skills you will be tested on. It is just best to study and practice your skills. When you do your clinicals take your time and think as your doing your skills . If you get nervous just breathe and take your time. You have 2 hrs to do your clinicals. If you pass your clinicials then you will take your knowledge test. On your knowledge test really read the questions good. You must pick the best answers. I myself felt my test did have some tricky questions.
I have reread my cna manual. I will do well when I retake my knowledge test. Practice and study now up to Jan 4th . I believe you will do Well. God Bless!
Your correct handwashing , indirect care is automatic. The other 3 skills will be choosen for you. You will not know what those skills will be. Just read over your instructions you received from the State of Michigan Certified Nurse Aide Information Bulletin very carefully. This tells you everything.

I passed my Clinicals test But I have to retake my knowledge test. I was very shocked". I reread the questions and answers 3 times. I don't know if it was nerves of what! I did poorly on the part of Basic Nursing Skills and Providing Specialized Care. I came home reread my cna book for questions that I wasn't sure of but my book didn't cover the questions. I do Home Health Care, I have passed all my PCT classes ( CNA, Phlembotomy and EKG). Can anyone provide any books I can get to read to help me pass my Knowledge test for CNA. or Any suggestions to help me pass the CNA knowledge Test. Awaiting my letter so I can reschedule to retake.
Thank you for any help or suggestions.
