Hello everyone, this is my first post. I have a huge problem. My husband and I are considering moving to Jacksonville FL from Southern Illinois. If he is accepted to law school we will be moving. I am a CNA at a hospital here and currently enrolled in school as well so that I can become an RN.
What are the chances of my certificate transferring from IL to FL? How hard is it to get a job as a CNA at a hospital? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there.
I would check with Florida's nurse aide registry and see what it would take to transfer your certification. In some states it is a matter of paperwork. I live in Iowa and checked on a Missouri certification and if I remember correctly it was a matter of paperwork and waiting. As long as you are in good standing in your current state and your certification is on active status it should not be a huge problem.
Hopefully congrats on your husband being accepted to law school and your move.
