CNA Classes - Orange Park (Jacksonville)

Greetings to All:

I am in need of a CNA license to obtain more points for entering the SJRCC nursing program.

The next available class for CNA at SJRCC isn't until May 26, 2009, which is 3 months after the deadline for the summer nursing program. It's also a night class and I would prefer day class.

Has anyone taken any CNA classes in Orange Park or Jacksonville that they recommend? What was the total cost?

Thank you,

Acie

You might want to check a Vo-Tech. I know Bradford VoTech in Starke has a CNA program. Not that far of a ride & would be cheaper than a private school.

Superior Training Services on College Drive has a 3 week class. I'm not sure how much the class costs, however, it includes everything from fingerprinting, CNA test, and a comprehensive class to learn the various skills. (904) 272-4330 is Superior's phone number. Many nursing students past and present have used this to get the needed points for SJRCC's nursing program.

pattyewlpn - Thank you. I called the Bradford VoTech and they only offer LPN and PCT nowadays. Their next class for either isn't starting until Aug. 2009.

tomlor - I will give CNASuperior a call. Their next class is starting in November. Thank you as well.
