Clinicals

Hi All,

I need help! I’m supposed to be starting clinicals this Summer but I’m worried I may get denied by my BON. A few years ago I was discharged with an OTH from the military for “substance abuse”. On the student clinical app it asks about any military Article 15s, judgements, or actions. I’ve already reached out to a legal team who is getting back to me for more info but has anyone been in this situation? How do I go about disclosing that information.

    You will likely get a response that says we can't give legal advice here; that's what you have your legal team for. You might look online for TAANA, The American Association of Nurse Attorneys online to see if there's someone near you or experienced in LA BON issues. They can be very helpful.
